Hamden’s Department of Recreation with the support of the Friends of Brooksvale Park presents their Annual Wreath Making Workshop on Saturday, December 7, 2019.
With assistance from knowledgeable staff and volunteers, learn how to craft your own Christmas wreath made from a variety of fresh-cut greens, baubles and bows. Each wreath is unique and both men and women enjoy this annual tradition. Many say this is the start of the Christmas season for them!
Crafting sessions are at 10am, Noon and 2pm. Preregistration is required as each session is limited to 25 participants. Each handcrafted wreath costs $20.00 with 100% of the proceeds put back into the park for educational purposes. Pay as you arrive with cash or local check only please. No credit/debit cards accepted. If you have clippers/pruners please bring them as we have a limited number available. By the way…hand sanitizer helps get the sap off afterwards!
